Troubleshooting Common Issues in EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Technician
How to Use EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Technician to Recover Lost Business Data
1. Immediate steps (do first)
- Stop using the affected drive — avoid writing new data to prevent overwriting.
- Prepare a recovery destination — have a separate external drive or network location ready to save recovered files.
2. Install and launch
- On a different (healthy) machine or different drive, download and install EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Technician.
- Launch the program and grant any OS permissions requested (especially on macOS).
3. Select the correct source
- From the main screen, select the specific drive, partition, or external device where the business data was lost.
- If system/boot partition is affected, create and use the EaseUS Bootable Media to avoid further system writes.
4. Scan
- Click “Scan” — the tool runs a Quick Scan then automatically a Deep (full) Scan.
- While scanning, use filters (file type, date) to narrow results and speed up locating business-critical files.
5. Preview and choose files
- Preview recoverable files (documents, spreadsheets, databases, emails, images) to verify integrity.
- Use the file tree, type view, and search box to locate key business files.
6. Recover safely
- Select files/folders to recover.
- Click “Recover” and save to the separate destination prepared earlier (never back to the source drive).
- After recovery, verify files open correctly (spot-check critical files).
7. Advanced/technical options
- Export/Import scan results: export .rsf if you need to continue later or move scan results to another machine.
- Disk Backup: create a disk image before recovery if the drive is failing; recover from the image.
- File signature/RAW recovery: use if directory
